About Ms. Neumann
Ms. Codruta Neumann was appointed to the NHS as a Consultant ENT Surgeon in 2014 following her training at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge. She is a Senior Lecturer and ENT course organiser at The University of Kent Medical School and is part of the ENT Masterclass Faculty, a charity delivering ENT training for specialists internationally. Globally recognised for her research and teaching, she is a key conference speaker, giving ENT masterclasses all over the world.
Ms. Neumann has been awarded the “I Want Great Care” Certificate of Excellence every year since 2019. She takes particular care to listen to her patient’s concerns, giving them ample time to ask questions and empowering them to make informed decisions about their healthcare. She understands the anxieties of parents whose child may need treatment and she works with children in a gentle and calm way.
Fully competent in all aspects of ENT, she is an internationally renowned Otologist (ear expert) and has published extensively in peer reviewed journals. She undertook clinical research in age-related hearing loss at the world renowned Sanger Institute and Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge. She was the principal investigator in an international multicentric randomised trial of trans-tympanic treatments for Meniere’s disease. She has also researched the treatment of severe and necrotising otitis externa in a multicentric national study as a principal investigator and has mentored and supervised an associate investigator and research team. She is treasurer of the Politzer Society, board member of both the British Society of Otology at the Royal Society of Medicine and the Proper Meniere's Society and, of course, a member of ENT-UK and the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

" Ms Codruta Neumann is a life changer, miracle worker and I cannot thank her enough! I have had a hearing impairment my whole life. Ms Neumann completely reconstructed the internals of my ear, with unnoticeable scaring. And noticeable improvement to my hearing. So much so that I no longer need to wear hearing aids at all!! The bones she replaced are microscopically small and I can only imagine the work involved in such an operation is nothing short of miraculous.
